Mastro's Steakhouse Houston

My wife and I were in Mastro several times with a 5-star experience. Last night was not so busy, so I expected nothing less than typical. We started to have a drink and salad at the bar, a great service, etc. We sat on our table in the back room next to the waiter's computer. At the beginning we had starters and drinks, followed by our entree then dessert. We went the whole meal without a refill on our water and no other drinks offered. In summary, the food was amazing, but the service was terrible. I hope it's a fuke and they'll recover at our next visit. I can't recommend this place until I find an improvement.

Let me first say that my second time went to Mastro and was disappointed that this round was going. First of all, I would like to say that our table was deep in the corner that was walking from the storage door, the staff and etc. in one of every 5min graphics chair. Secondly, we were also of a loud birthday table and another table that was loud also my best friend and I couldn't hear myself talking. The waiter was about to do it with the jokes, talk a little too much, every time he came to the table, he had a story to tell. After our bottle of champagne we ordered lemon drops that tasted just like lemon juice. The waiter tried to convince us that Belvedere was in our drinks, but after drinking more minutes, we thought it wasn't that we ordered double bowls from Belvedere. After our second round of double dishes we noticed that it was completely irrigated and after that we were completely over the restaurant. We won't come back. I begged this place to my friend and they let me down.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding day at maestros. The restaurant was wonderful service and the food was great. We will visit this restaurant again.

The best steakhouse ever! It’s always so consistent! Great atmosphere. Keri was a great server!! Every time I’m in town I have to stop in!
