Mastrantos - Houston

Mastrano?s is such a wonderful restaurant! The staff is so welcoming and accommodating. The food is incredible, fantastic chefs!! Highly recommend for your next Italian food craving!!! Will be back soon!

Mastrantos always exceeds expectations! Each dish on the menu is carefully prepared and absolutely delicious. I have never been disappointed with any of my orders. I chose to celebrate my birthday dinner here because I know I can rely on the restaurant to provide outstanding flavors and they were very accommodating with my large group. Mastrantos is definitely one of the top three restaurants in Houston! You will not be let down.

As a pasta restaurant, the menu is limited and the food is mediocre. I ordered shrimp crudo and the pappardelle, both of which were just okay. The pasta wasn't the best I've ever had, and the blue lighting in the bar made the food look unappetizing. I give them 3 stars primarily because of the service I received. I visited on a Saturday evening and sat at the bar, where the host and server were friendly. I asked for a recommendation, and Pablo made me a mocktail called Portland's Autumn, which was delicious, tasting like a sparkling blackberry drink. For dessert, I requested ice cream and was given a scoop of vanilla ice cream with Nutella and caramel drizzle on top, which was tasty and enjoyable. I also appreciated their private parking lot and the stylishly designed bathrooms.

My wife and I came to this restaurant for a Dinner in the Dark experience. The location is small, but the interior looks really nice. The atmosphere for the night was amazing, and we really enjoyed the unique experience of eating while blindfolded. We tried the meat option, which included posole and steak, as well as dessert. It was a different and exciting experience to share with my wife. The service was excellent, and the hostess was very attentive.

I have to start by saying how amazing the service was. The staff at Mastranto?s were so helpful with sharing their meal choice opinions and were so accommodating. The espresso martini was the best that I?ve had! Both my partner and I were in love with ourappetizer choice and main courses. Can?t recommend this place enough?a must for a date night in Houston!
