Mango Tree - Houston

From the outside, this restaurant looks like just another typical strip mall eatery, but don't overlook it! The food is exceptional! I tried the Ka Pao Basil entree and a bowl of Tom Kha Gai soup, and both were fantastic choices! My wife ordered the Spicy Ginger entree with the same soup, and she absolutely loved it. We opted for a spice level of 2, which turned out to be quite spicy for us, but we couldn't stop eating—it was just that delicious! Definitely give this place a try; the service was excellent too.

Fantastic spot! It's a small, unassuming place with incredible flavors, textures, and presentation. I highly recommend it!

Food is flavorful, good Thai. Serving size is conservative. Spicy ginger was wonderfully different!

Thai restaurants vary widely in taste and quality. This is one of the best.

I really enjoyed the pad Thai with shrimp, and the sweet rice was just right (though the mango is out of season at the moment). It was a bit pricey, but isn't everything these days?
