La Crawfish - Houston

I wasn't a fan of the head-on cooked shrimp. This was our first visit, and there was nothing on the menu indicating that the shrimp would be served with the heads on. Additionally, the Cajun seasoning was less flavorful than I had anticipated.

I ordered two different flavors of wings, but they both tasted the same: bland and dry—there was virtually no distinction between them. Even the seasoned fries lacked any flavor. This place is a major disappointment, and it does a disservice to Cajun cuisine.

Finally got to try this location out and I was very happy with the food and service. So you order at the counter and they bring you your food! They got all of my order correct and the place I think has decent prices. They did not take long at all to bring my order out and everything was freaking delicious. The crawfish had so much flavors, well all of the food did. This location is small and doesn't have a lot of space to sit at but hopefully it moves fast and tables become available. Definitely recommend people to check it out.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The seafood was not fresh; every crab I opened was disgusting, and one was even gray, indicating it was rotten! Fresh crabs should be white, not like what I received. When I brought this to the manager's attention, he refused to give me a refund because I had already started eating them, despite the fact that I hadn't even opened them all and they were clearly old and spoiled. They offered me a replacement meal of equal value from the menu. When I chose something, the manager later returned to tell me that they wouldn't give me the wings because I had already eaten the crab. Apparently, I didn’t have proof of the awful, old, gray claws I received. When I asked the manager why he didn’t address my complaint the first time, he claimed he was busy in the back. I felt dismissed and told him I needed a refund. Despite my insistence, he stuck to his refusal, saying it was because I had already eaten. Please don't dine here; there are much better and fresher seafood options in Houston! I have photos to prove it!

This is always a place I look forward to coming to when I visit Houston. However, this time I was beyond disappointed and disgusted. The Crawfish and crab legs were extremely dry and old tasting. Looks like they tried to overcompensate with way to much seasoning to distract you from the old dry crawfish and crab they were selling.
