The pork and Greek lemon chicken gyros were outstanding! The "hot" hot sauce was flavorful and had a nice kick! The restaurant has a modern atmosphere and was spotless. We will definitely be returning!
I just had my first experience at this restaurant, and frankly, it was nothing special. As someone from Chicago, I really wanted to enjoy it, but it turned out to be pretty mediocre. I ordered a chicken pita, and unfortunately, the pita bread was too crispy—it tasted more like a chip than the soft bread typically used for gyros. The meat was tasty, but there wasn't much of it, so the dish ended up being mostly pita bread slathered in sauce with just a few pieces of chicken. The toppings were also lacking, with only a few bits of onion and tomato. If you're in the area, you might want to give it a try, but I wouldn't recommend going out of your way for it. The fries weren't great either. I'm still searching for a good gyro spot in Houston.
I absolutely love this restaurant and find myself returning time and time again, even with so many other Mediterranean choices in the area. Their burgers are delicious, the gyros are fantastic, and the zucchini fritters are out of this world. It's one of the few places where I actually opt for the "mild" sauce because they really bring the heat!
Small little place that packs a BIG punch with flavor. The owner was very nice and the food was delicious! The hot sauce is actually HOT and I loved it. The spicy chicken sandwich and spinach puffs were amazing! Going again for sure!
When plans fell through for dinner, my wife and I decided to order Greek food. I searched Google for Greek food near me, and this place came up. We looked at the menu on Google, decided what looked appetizing, and called to order take out from this place for the first time ever. When the guy picked up the phone, I asked for two gyro platters. The man informs me that they don?t have platters. I was confused because I just saw it on the Google menu, and when I mentioned that he said (in a very condescending tone) he doesn?t control what Google puts there. I honestly was very shocked at his tone, but asked if he had something similar altogether on a plate, like fries, gyro meat on a plate. He snapped back, ?yeah we have plates.? So I responded, ?isn?t that the same thing? Plate and a platter?? Anyway, so I went ahead and ordered two ?plates? and went to pick them up for dinner. When I arrived, I went to the register to pay and he came out looking very angry. He told me I was very rude to him over the phone. Obviously, I was surprised by this, because I felt that he was extremely rude to me, a first time customer. He asked me why I didn?t go to his website. I tried to explain to him how I found the menu on Google, and tried to show him so that he would understand what his future customers may see. He kept cutting me off when I was speaking, not giving me the respect of listening to my experience but kept repeating to me that I was rude. When I realized that he was not in a place to listen or have a rational conversation at all, I decided to leave. The way that I was treated was enough to make anyone walk away. As I left, he started shouting behind me, ?Have a nice day, sir!? as though he was trying to cuss me out, but still wanting to make it sound polite because he had customers in the dining room. By far, one of the worst customer service experiences I?ve had since moving to Houston four years ago.
