Irma's Southwest - Houston

I typically don’t write reviews, but I had such a great experience at this restaurant that I felt compelled to share! The service, food, and atmosphere were all exceptional. The manager was very kind, and I really appreciated her taking the time to chat with us and check in, which many managers often overlook. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, and it has quickly become one of my favorites in downtown!

The food was wonderful; they only offered the GameDay menu, but it really satisfied my cravings. The wild boar quesadilla stood out as particularly delicious. Overall, the food was great, but it was a bit on the pricey side.

I had the chicken enchiladas (4/5) guacamole (3/5). The enchiladas, rice beans were well seasoned. The guacamole could've used more lime juice, salt and pepper. The guac shown in the video is $20. Also the avocados weren't ripe yet. I ordered two mezcal cocktails (5/5): Tim Collins and a mezcal Rita. Staff are very friendly. Cool ambiance. Nice date spot.

Irma's Southwest is my favorite Mexican restaurant. The flavors are amazing, and the fajitas are a must-try! The warm atmosphere and friendly service create the perfect setting for a delicious and satisfying meal with friends or family.

I absolutely love this place! Whenever my friends visit Houston, I always bring them here. They immediately fall in love with the fruit lemonade.
