The food and drinks were great but I have to say the best was the service by Sofiane! He was informative and very friendly! He was amazing and made our experience the best! He treated us like family and we were very comfortable with him. Thank you Sofiane for the amazing service and food! Best experience ever!

Good food. Excellent service. Brianna was courteous and patient ....assisting us in deciding what to order to get the best experience. Kobe queso was great! Such fresh thin tortillas Octopus Salty Bread and condiment yummy Seafood tower all great except the sashimis (not fresh anymore). Love the oysters and jumbo shrimp. Kids loved the lobster Steak flight super yummy son ordered an extra Wagyu because of sample in flight Truffle Mac and Cheese I am not a mac/cheese person, and I liked it. Kids devoured bowl Crispy Brussels sprouts good Triple chocolate cookies we soooo good we ordered to go Complimentary dessert was ok...the mouse was light and fluffy Next time we will try Cod Dry beef Other desserts Beautiful celebration for my husband's 25th year with Chevron

Guard and Grace has been on my long list of Houston restaurants to visit for a while. After a little nudge from a social media post, I visited for a last minute date night. WOW! I was blown away by the quality of food. The hostess fell short of setting the tone for the experience that was to come. Our server, Sofiane almost made us forget about her. I’m a steak snob, so when I saw the article on the wall claiming G&G has “Houston’s Best Steak,” I was highly skeptical. They made me a believer. We ordered salad, steaks, brussels sprouts, and cornbread. Every bite was savory and full of lasting flavor. The kitchen is back there doing magic!

The food is amazing. The steak was cooked to the perfect temperature and rareness. The fish was topped with a sause I've only had with eel (sushi). I think the best thing I had was the Truffled Gnocchi (side dish). The texture was perfect, and the truffle made it especially flavorful. I like this much better than the Truffled Pasta at Potente. The service is great, too. The bartender walked me through the kitchen to the restroom. Oh yeah. They let customers walk through part of the kitchen! Most high-end restaurants have an open concept to the kitchen, but THIS place lets customers walk through it.
