The staff member at the register was knowledgeable about the vegan options available. The restaurant had a dedicated vegan menu featuring empanadas - I sampled three of them and they were delicious. They also offered vegan pastries, although I did not try them. I enjoyed a flavorful chai with almond milk as well.
EQ coffee is a pleasant neighborhood coffee shop to sit at and do some work. There is seating inside and a large patio. Noise level is minimal and there are plenty of chairs and sofas. The folks here are super kind, they gave us a bag of ice (Bad mosquito allergy- swelling- it was a mess, different story). The drinks were good, I had the matcha latte. The matcha used is ceremonial so specify if sweetener is needed otherwise it might not be the typical matcha latte.
Relaxing and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere and decor! Indoor and outdoor seating, two bathrooms, and seems like a great place to do work. When I went on a weekday afternoon, it was very quiet but full of people working. May not be the best place to hang out with friends unless it’s more lively on the weekends. Great coffee, EVEN BETTER dessert I got their triple berry tart and it was so good (they even warmed it).A little expensive but nothing you wouldn’t expect in the heights. Good bus access and a walkable surrounding area. Would go again!
