Empire Café - Houston

Loved the outdoor terrace and the atmosphere, but unfortunately was not a big fan of food. The croissant was so-so, but would not recommend the chicken and waffles. My husband, though the listed toppings would come up on the waffle, but they are boiled into the waffle that provides a strange texture and consistency. Hot Latte was not very good and personally not a fan of a hot drink served in a pint glass. I will say the staff was very friendly and service was fast, but with so many other options I don't think we will return.

There at 8 o'clock, easy to find parking. It is a good place to start your day, have a cup of coffee and a few breakfast. The cookies that come with coffee and tea taste like homemade. Not really a fan with the ordered food, looks better than the taste. Place is clean, Vibe is good, the staff are friendly, overall it is a good place for a coffee or tea.

First time there and the food was delicious. I got the avocado toast and they were able to just do the fruits I asked for, I also tried the seafood gumbo and wasn’t a fan of it because I don’t like white fish. I also tried their coffee, the sugar daddy and chai tea which were very good! Anita the manager very friendly and she made the chai tea exceptional, it was good! Very friendly staff and good atmosphere, definitely will be back

This is my favorite cafe in houston. The atmosphere is great— lots of tables both inside and outside, great food, great coffee. This is a great brunch spot or place to get work done!

Inviting environment. Atmosphere is celebrated. Food is a taste for all. Staff is kind and relaxed. Crowd is cultural of many. This place bring memories to life iver and iver again.
