I was pleased to see a show of support for Israel on the outside windows, which was a plus for me. The menu was extensive with a variety of flavors to choose from. I cannot recall the name of the dish I ordered, but it was a chicken fajita in a poblano sauce with onions and mushrooms, which I found to be very tasty. The chicken was tender and the sauce was creamy, accompanied by rice, beans, and fresh flour tortillas. The service was excellent, with our server being attentive and giving us plenty of attention. The restaurant had a traditional Hispanic Mexican Tex-Mex style with an outdoor patio, though we opted to dine inside due to the hot weather. Overall, our experience was really good, and I would recommend this restaurant based on our service and food quality.
This restaurant is our favorite hidden gem where we can avoid sharing space with big groups! John provided excellent service for our party of 14. The restaurant is conveniently located on NASA Road 1 and 270/Egret Bay. The margaritas are a must-try and the chili con queso with ground taco meat is delicious. Their red salsa is also a favorite of mine. As a family gathering, we enjoyed fresh and hot sopapillas to celebrate. Looking forward to returning soon to see John and the rest of the staff!
The restaurant is overpriced and offers low-quality food. The service was slow despite there being only 4 tables occupied. The steak in the enchiladas tasted strange, as if it had been reheated in the microwave. The steak quesadillas were mostly cheese and grease. The chips were hard and stale. The tacky decoration, including the "we support Israel" sign on the front window, seemed out of place for a Tex-Mex restaurant.
Love this local Mexican restaurant. Super good happy hour and friendly staff. Right around the corner from my condo and always try to catch happy hour when I can.
Play seems to have gotten more expensive but quality of entrees is not increased with the price increase and the chips don't seem like they're fresh tortilla chips anymore like store bought
