Desi Kitchen - Houston

This used to be my favorite Indian restaurant. I would visit weekly with my partner, and my little boy loved it as well. However, during our last two visits, we encountered cockroaches crawling on the walls while we were eating. Recently, we ordered through UberEats, and the food quality was not up to the standards we had experienced in the past at Desi. Also, I have to mention that the bathroom is in terrible condition. This place needs a thorough cleaning, and maybe then we would consider coming back.

The food here is extremely authentic and the dishes were full of flavor. The prices were quite reasonable as well. I would definitely recommend this place to others. Just a tip: if you're ordering spicy dishes, request mild, as it tends to be what most consider medium.

Wow! I've had some of the best goat curry here. I'm a big fan of authentic Indian cuisine, and although I was a bit apprehensive at first, I decided to give it a try. They absolutely nailed it! The owners are very friendly and treat you like family. This place serves the best food in town—make sure to try the goat chops!

The food was good but the nan was both raw and burnt. The place really deserves 3 stars but the nan was that bad. Great serving potions, great flavors, great service but the nan ruined it all for me. The pistachio ice cream was a good desert. When I go back and the nan is better i will chane the rating.
