Chinois Orient Bistro - Houston

This Chinese American bistro is quite nice—quiet and clean. I recommend giving it a try. The shrimp and chicken with cashews were tasty, and for just $7.50, you get a generous portion from the lunch menu (drinks not included). The service could be a bit quicker, but if you prefer to enjoy your meal at a leisurely pace, it's perfect. I’ll definitely return.

My family has been dining here for at least eight years, and I still absolutely love it. The service has always been polite and prompt, and the dining area is consistently spotless. The Mongolic beef is a hearty, non-spicy dish that I adore (it’s my favorite!). The cashew chicken is also fantastic and a family favorite, featuring beautifully caramelized cashews and tasty baby corn.

This family-owned restaurant has been around for years. While the service can occasionally be a bit slow, the food is truly outstanding. Some of my favorites include the Hunan combination and the General Tso shrimp. The dumplings, whether veggie or meat, are quite large, and I usually prefer to have them fried instead of pan-fried. Since they are made fresh, I like to call ahead and place my order while I'm on my way to the restaurant.

Great food and nice people. We don't eat as often as we like, but we always have a nice experience. It is quiet and peaceful inside. Take out is always hot and tasty, and one of the friendly owners always supplies the food themselves. We love Chinois!

Very good. The hot and sour soup we've been looking for since tongues on 1960 closed years ago. Dumpling some of the best melt-in-your-mouth. Everything we've ordered just wonderful.
