Cajun Craven - Houston

I picked up some live crabs, and they were excellent. The staff was incredibly friendly. The only downside was that while I expected the bags to weigh between 30 and 35 pounds, only one bag weighed 30 pounds; the other two were 27 and 29 pounds.

I've visited this restaurant a few times, and today I really enjoyed the mussels. However, I was let down by the crawfish. The sauce is fantastic and full of flavor, but the size of the crawfish was ridiculous. I was disappointed, especially since you're paying $9 per pound and most of the crawfish were smaller than my thumb—yes, the whole crawfish! On a positive note, the crab was good, and the chicken tenders were enjoyable too.

I usually order takeout because I love their Cajun sauce seafood boil and fried calamari. However, the service could be improved.

The food was fresh and served hot. My kids and I visited the location in Lakeland, and it was an amazing experience. Our server, Sophia, had a fantastic personality and provided the best customer service I’ve seen in a long time. As a customer service manager myself, I can say that this speaks volumes. She was very attentive and ensured that we were satisfied throughout our meal, and I truly appreciate her efforts. If you haven't tried Cajun Craven yet, it's definitely worth the money. You really get your money's worth! I will definitely be returning.
