The first is classic, and the second is great if you have something creamy with just a little cheesy radio. If you are super hungry, you can choose the sandwich or pasta, but I was perfectly satisfied with the meatballs on your own or with the house salad. Easy access to downtown tunnels
TL;DR It is amazing So first I was a little skeptical of this place. Its relatively small, and at first glance, the prices seem a little high (12 dollars per meatball sub, with subway right next to it), but I decided to give it an attempt. The owner was Manning the register, and when I told him that I was new in the area, he explained what his restaurant does differently, handmade everything, fresh every morning, family recipe. He had a Brooklyn/New York accent and as he explained, everything was like a screen from a movie, and super friendly. I finished the sub (I got the full size, but could only finish half, it is so big, despite the price worth) and it was amazing. Fresh meatballs, sauce and bread. You get in spite of the quality you pay here. The meal was on par or probably even better than most reservation/sit down restaurants. Super fast service too, I didn't wait for more than 3 minutes for me to have my food. Definitely recommend and will return!
Miss this place Post Pandemie. Excellent food and service. Herbs and spices are very balanced. Are you coming back?
There's only one problem with Brooklyn Meatball Company. You need more locations. I hope the owner/founder finds his way clear to this incredible Italian fast food to franchise. I prefer the Pesto sauce, but the red is also great.
This is my favorite restaurant in all of the Houston tunnels. Joey is a cool guy and his food is amazing. I’m a big fan of the meatball sub. Hopefully they’ll be back post pandemic
