Ashford Arms Pub - Houston

This is a fantastic local pub with a welcoming atmosphere. The people here are friendly, and there are plenty of games to enjoy, including darts, pool, and shuffleboard. Plus, it's conveniently located right next to the best smoke shop in town.

Amazing prices! This is a fantastic bar to relax in, whether you're flying solo or looking to strike up a conversation (everyone is incredibly friendly). The atmosphere feels very local; I noticed that many patrons know each other. They host bingo and a variety of fun events. The drink specials are excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. The bartender is attentive and laid-back—though I can’t quite remember his name... perhaps it was Cody? He’s a Caucasian guy with glasses and a hat.

I have visited the pub many times over the years, and I have always had a great time.

The restaurant wasn’t crowded, making it a nice, relaxed spot to enjoy. They have karaoke on Fridays, and we had a wonderful time!

I don't often drink, and I rarely visit bars, but I decided to stop by this one alone about 30 minutes before closing time. I approached the blonde bartender to order a drink, but she mumbled something and walked away. Assuming there was some misunderstanding, I waited for her to return. When she did, I expressed my interest in ordering a drink again, but to my astonishment, she told me, "I can tell you're going to cause trouble, and you need to leave." I was completely taken aback and tried to understand what the issue was, but I was quickly dismissed. This was my nearest pub, and it had seemed like a nice place, but after this experience, I won't be coming back.
