Ammas Kitchen - Houston

Amazing food! The servers helped describe the food and what tasted best! They brought naan and chips and a flat naan to our table. The servers were very helpful to us and never let our water cups go empty!! They helped us pick foods and made sure we liked it (which we did; loved it). Would definitely recommend and come back again! This will be my new favorite Indian restaurant in the west Houston area

The flavors are amazing and the buffet has so many delicious options. You MUST try the pickled mango and cauliflower. Try ALL the chutneys! The food alone is worth a revisit, but what made me fall in love with this place is the staff. I accidentally arrived too early for my lunch meeting and said I would be back in 30 min. The lovely staff member said, you will do no such thing- relax, have some salad while you wait, no one will ask why you are sitting I felt right at home :

We have tasted a variety of items here and every time we are happy with what we have ordered so far. You cannot go wrong. But, they are closed on Sundays. Also, you can bring your own booze here which is a plus.

I had lunch at this restaurant for the first time and it was incredible! My husband and I tried the buffet, which was absolutely delicious. The food was high quality and authentic Indian cuisine. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was great overall. We will definitely be coming back to this Indian restaurant again in the future.

Food was excellent! The taste was very close to what you get in India. I have visited this restaurant three times in a week already. The dishes on their buffet changes everyday and I loved all the dishes I have tried there so far. No preservatives and very clean environment. Wish I could give them more stars. Hope they keep up the taste.
