Amalfi Ristorante Italiano Bar

Yesterday for Valentine's Day. Read reviews. I made a reservation. It was 1:00 and still busy. We ordered the 3-course lunch grill octopus. The main reason I chose Amalfi was for the octopus. We had moist, very delicate pulp in the sauce in Spain, and I wanted to taste this treat again! Once the octopus came out, I put my first course aside and focused on it! To leave it would not be good. Grilled was the only choice that the meat was solid but so richly flavored that my husband took a few pieces before I sat back as I went for it! The salad was a decent size. The homemade pasta was beautiful. The prettily presented chocolate mousse was delicious. I'll say if we hadn't ordered the octopus, I would have been hungry. The service was good. The surroundings were beautiful. We should come back to dinner.

It was my 42 years day. Eating was good and love live piano music. Atmosphere. I like the plates blue and white with ocean-organism print. Where can I buy it, I want to buy the dish so nice for me. I'll be back. Dear Desserts also tiramisu was so delicious.

I came for Houston Restaurant Week, the menu and food were amazing. Came with two pairs and we all tried a bite of every dish and they were all delicious. They also gave me a birthday dessert and the musician sang our table. That's a great double date. My only problem was that our waiter was a little distracted and the table light was missing (what we had to ask), a napkin setting (so we had to ask twice), and we did not get the frozen abdominal potion, although we all did the HRW food.... this is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. The food is amazing though... I'm back for dinner, not so much for the service.

SIMPLY AMAZING! The ambience, food, service, beverage selection. It was an amazing night!!! Perfect for a date night!

I went for HRW and have to say the food was amazing. The server was extremely attentive with our needs (mainly water, I drink alot of water... sorry server). Atmosphere was very formal and lively, we had a pianist playing background that night.
