Nostalgie for nostalgie. this architectural style, once sniffed by architects, now impresses as an authentic surviving of an age that is so different from our own. Unfortunately, the sheer size of the building makes it difficult to detect without a wide angle objective, and in them. would require professional lighting to reach light levels that are sufficient to show the quite beautiful vertical trim on many walls and on the wooden beam front. this is craft of a quality they do not see today. it reminded me a little of the cladding that the white cross inn at north cray, although not so good. but I almost didn't drive out of the bus. my eye was pulled to a big pub from the 20th century on the other side of the road, closed and obviously due to break. that was once the mansion as I discovered later. I was relieved to see that the three horse hoes still open, its high chic kamine high above the dach, diamond-pandered windows, lively emerald green background standing on the letter train on the pub sign. as suitable for st. patrick’s day! only on the morning in the church the vikar had explained how the green tochof coats worn by st. patrick had produced the symbolic Irish green. When I came in, it was the ire that met me first, but when the time went, I started, the mock-tudor details begging about - even the flower pattern on the rainwater funnel outside as I went. the people I spoke with were kind and it was a good experience. if they want to see the three horse shoes for themselves, I suggest that Sunday afternoon can be a good time for it. my attempt to visit another time of the week was a failure. the area in front of the pub, which can once have tables for drinkers, is in active use as a parking space.
I went today for a fast prise bitter and saw that they had mute, so ordered a pint and when it was served it was cloudy and tasted vinegar so I asked the dame serve the beer was ok and was said. it's a new touch love so I thought ok fair enough maybe it's me. then went 2 older men and asked for 2 pints of the same beer. when the dame shook her, she could see that she looked rough, so she came to the cellar and then she said again in second and then said to the 2 herr sad, but the beer is turbid, but can assure them that the barrels are clean. I asked one of the men to try the beer, and they agreed with me, it was not good, so they offered them a filled alternative that they bought. I then said what about me can I have 1/2 a john forging instead and was said it is also out, so when I said I can't say that they don't say, sorry or have their money back they said ok. I went out when I left my partially drunk beer on the bar. I can't believe that the absolute Mist service and rubbish beer. they stay away or drink them on their perile either away when it goes wrong, they do not expect any support as it simply won't happen.
