She should have more charisma and a better approach when serving customers, especially since we are purchasing a product and not asking for a handout. We have been visiting this shop for quite some time, and this is the first time I have experienced such unpleasant service. I hope it’s the first and last time, because as I mentioned before, the gorditas are excellent, and it's disappointing to have to deal with such an attitude.
This restaurant from San Antonio really excels in Tex-Mex cuisine, and my experience was fantastic. I ordered the chicken enchiladas verde, which was beautifully presented alongside high-quality rice and refried beans. The staff was incredibly friendly, which was a pleasant surprise for a place in Houma.
The corn tortillas here are incredibly fresh and tasty, made right on the premises. If you have any leftovers, make sure to separate each tortilla with wax paper before cooling them in the fridge; they’re so fresh that they will stick together otherwise. Now that I've covered that tip, as suggested by the cashier, here’s something to note: they prepare beef Barbacoa and Menudo on weekends, but be aware that they usually sell out by noon. It’s a good idea to call ahead, and they’ll reserve a pound or two for you. They open at 8 AM on weekends.
This San Antonio bolillo really knows how to handle Tex-Mex cuisine, and it was fantastic. I tried the chicken enchiladas, which were beautifully presented with a side of rice and roasted veggies that added a cheerful touch. The staff was incredibly friendly, which was a pleasant surprise for me in Houma.
The corn tortillas here are incredibly fresh and delicious, made right on-site. After cooking, the leftover tortillas are separated with wax paper to prevent them from sticking together in the fridge, but they are so fresh that they often still stick when packaged. I got this tip from the staff—they offer barbacoa and menudo on the weekends, and they're usually sold out by midday. It's a good idea to call ahead, and they’ll set aside a portion for you. They open at 8 AM on weekends.
