Tucked away from all the hustle and bustle of MLK Blvd. and the food is fresh and well prepared with healthier choices.

This is my favorite spot for Mediterranean cuisine within a 50-mile radius. My husband and I always bring our own bottle of wine (and there’s no corkage fee!). Everything here is delicious—seriously! From the hummus to the grape leaves (both vegetarian and meat), salads, shawarmas, spinach pie, and fresh pita, you can't go wrong with any choice. No matter what you order, you're guaranteed to enjoy it. Don’t forget to bring a bottle of wine when you visit!

Athenos was fantastic—chef's kiss! I was seated promptly and received excellent service from the very kind waitress who brought my drink right away. I ordered my meal to-go, which made it easy to take home the leftovers. The feta salad was incredibly fresh and delightful! The gyro plate offered a generous portion for the price. The hummus was homemade, and I suggest paying a little extra to add toppings to it. I did wish I had been given more pita, as some pieces were quite hard and not ideal for dipping. Overall, I would absolutely return! Both the restrooms and dining area were clean, and the atmosphere was welcoming, enhanced by the flags and decor. I highly recommend it!

Hit this spot many times while staying in Morgan City. Being from NJ where Greek is easier to find I was pleasantly surprised to find this place! Food always good. I especially liked the Jordanian wrap, basically a larger gyro but with some added flavors.

It's 12:05, the place is empty, my companion retrieved the menu, the waitress asked if she could smoke a cigarette before we ordered.
