Big B's Delicious Orchards - Hotchkiss

My friends took me to this amazing place, and I had a fantastic time! The food was great, and the BBQ featured delicious pulled pork served without bread. The salad and coleslaw were also wonderful. There were ropes for kids and adults to swing from the hill while enjoying music and dancing. We wandered through the vineyards, and at night, there were bonfires to enjoy while exploring the small store. On music nights, there's a $20 parking fee per car, which covers the music too. You can also stay overnight in RVs or tents, but keep in mind that they only have water available. There are no dump stations or electric hookups, but the modern bathrooms and showers are very nice. I definitely plan to come back!

This organic farm is my favorite in Colorado! They offer delicious food and apple wine, along with a variety of activities for the whole family, including live music every weekend. The staff and the owner are fantastic. Plus, you can pick your own fruits and vegetables!

Hotchkiss's version of the ultimate nature experience! They offer campsites, beehives, vast acres of various "you-pick" vegetables, orchards filled with assorted fruits (including Goji berries), and a variety of herbs. The property is lovingly maintained by wonderful employees and owners, making Big B's an enjoyable destination for everyone. There’s a playground with large tree swings that are fun for all ages. Their concert hall showcases products, herbs, and gastropub offerings, including creative ice flavors and local wines. However, parking can be a challenge since it’s a popular spot right off the highway. Be sure not to miss the Tree Bush nursery! On my hikes, I stumbled upon a Mulberry Bush near the beehives. It’s a beautiful place to spend some time while enjoying their offerings.

If you love good cedar (and hard lemonade) they have it!! I haven't tried the food yet, but I'm planning it. It smells great. Also on the property is Oasis Nursery, where you can find the expertise and local plant materials to make your own fruits. They also have camping and live music!

Pretty neat place. Food, music, good ice cream, playground for the kids.
