Taco Pronto - Hot Springs

I'd rate this restaurant closer to a 3.5 out of 5. I had lunch here with friends and ordered the deluxe Mexican dinner, which included a taco, tamale, enchilada, beans/rice, and chips with queso. For the price, the portion was quite good. In terms of taste, I found it decent but not outstanding. The taco, tamale, and enchilada were all average, while the rice was slightly below that. I did appreciate that the preparation was a bit different from what I've typically experienced at other Mexican restaurants, where dishes often taste like they come from the same cookbook. Everything else was fine. One downside is they only offer one refill on well drinks, so be sure to drink sparingly.

Large small restaurant with a lot of food and aromas. I've been going to taco pronto for many years, where I was all gone when she died the oaklawn racetrack. we never had a bad experience with one of the foods. the staff is always friendly and helpful. just a whole great experience, every time we go.

The customer service here is fantastic! The Tex-Mex food is served hot and made fresh to order. I had a great lunch during their new hours, which are from 10:30 am to 8:00 pm. They are closed on Sundays. I highly recommend this restaurant!
