Owner was very personal and spent time chatting with us about the city, local sights and businesses. Huge supporters of the area. Not eating here was a nice surprise to know that she serves food. Drinking and eating are a game made in heaven and is not the case that many speaking: Would definitely recommend for everyone!
Jeff — Thanks for our culinary experience in Hot Springs 5 STAR. Your homemade soups were for dying! The chicken poppers, also “yummy” had to have seconds. This Raspberry Bourbon “especially” one of a kind, and not to miss. It may have felt for you how your “a man show” was like a three ring circus – you wore it beautifully! We praised your facility to our campsite neighbours. If she didn't in, It was her loss. If our travels take us back to Hot Springs, be assured that we will stop again. Thanks for a fantastic evening. Wonderful bar to have a drink to start or finish the night. The decor and the atmosphere are on site. Bartender/owner is super friendly and a great conversation. Even a song played when the night went on. large menu of drinks that were great. there is a good selection of beer, but not on tap.
If you are looking for food or drinks, go here! The signature Bourbon is incredible together with all the other cocktails! The food is also amazing! Last but not least, the owner Jeff is knowledgeable and a big guy who made sure we had a great night / dinner. Very recommended!
Around 9 months ago, my girlfriend and I were touring the Black Hills and one of the nights we decided to shack up in Hot Springs. We had mostly only planned to check out the mammoth site and the springs themselves. But, considering we had a full night there, we decided to check out the bar that was walking distance from the hotel we were staying at. And boy, I'm glad we did. We. Had. A. Blast! The guy who owns the place (Unfortunately, I never did get his name) is a true gentleman and a scholar. We had a fantastic time chatting with him and the other patrons, he has a wonderful mystery shot game that everybody took part in, and the bourbon....oh my God the bourbon... I'm a beer guy and never liked bourbon until I came to this place. This place is so good, we still talk about it to this day. This place is so good, I went and pulled it up on Google almost a year after the fact just to make sure I left a good review. This place is so good, we have talked about driving 14 hours just to buy some more of that beautiful brown drink! I truly believe we will find ourselves back there someday, and if you happen to find yourself in Hot Springs, be SURE you make Bourbon-County Speakeasy one of your stops. Ask for the bourbon.
