St. Gotthard - Hospental

I ordered a coffee, Pellegrino and a flammkuchen tart...I asked 3 times for the tart; and finally a waitress lied and said there was a problem in the kitchen...at 50 mins I saw the manager and said this is ridiculous where is my order. He finally fessed up and said the kitchen never got the order and out it came 10mins later. They gave it to be for free but made me pay for the water and coffee not a good look especially as I was a guest at the hotel.

I don't recommend this place at all! It's super pricey and the food choice is poor. It's almost as though they know there's limited overpriced choice and they don't care. Unfriendly and unwelcoming staff. I wouldn't return that's for sure.

Just stopped for a drink and snack. We were made to feel very welcome. The cakes, coffee and hot chocolates were fantastic. Thank you.

The BEST Geschnetzeltes mit Rösti, that I've ever had. So delicious that I intend to go back for dinner again real soon. The service is also excellent and the restaurant decor is typical Swiss chalet. Absolutely wonderful experience. Bessie Around The World. :

Restaurant: Waited 1:30 h for our food. Unacceptable. Food was not worth it, it was not seasoned well cordon bleu not crispy and dull and very small (44Chf). Quality of ingredients was very good and place is very cosy though and the waitresses are very kind. Good atmosphere. We have not stayed at hotel so cannot comment on this.
