Taberna Porto Pim - Horta

One of the most beautiful location of Horta and really nice food. People who work here are really friendly but they don’t accept reservation. You can go there and enjoy a drink while waiting.

Small restaurant with only about 6 tables outside. Right on the harbour wall, lovely sunset location. Tables are first come first served. After 18:30 you may be out of luck. Good menu and ok wine list. Great place to relax away an evening.

Very good food. Tuna steak was good, the meat stew was fantastic, service good. They do not accept bookings, but have quite a fast turnaround. The terrace area has just reopened. Friendly service. Very good value for money

The concept is that every guest receives a wooden tray with 3 sauces, rolls, a small salad and French froes. You order with pieces of meat or fish or a mix. On each tray they place a 500 degrees hot lava stone and you cook on it your choice of meal. Served with wine, beer or don't drinks with fresh pineapples and chocolate ice cream with coffee.
