Petiska Aki - Horta

We had lunch in this small place before our flight back to the airport. Despite the modest appearance it was a great surprise. It Is a self service restaurant using only fresh and local products. Chicken and potatoes tasted incredibly good, it was the best place we had food in our 1 month-travel in Azores. You are lucky if you find a table, reservation suggested. Do not miss It!

The best octopus I've ever eaten. Tender, fresh, full of flavor. The sauce and potatoes were good too. Service was pleasant. Wine was fresh. Price was right.

Ate dinner here several nights as close to our B&B. Service is prompt and friendly. You certainly will not leave hungry as the portions are very generous. Nice selection of wines and spirits and variety of foods to select from with low prices.

Went for lunch and had the buffet. Good selection and plenty of it! Simple dishes (a choice of three with salad and sides) and very tasty. For Eur 7.50 per head we could not complain!
