Very nice for a special occasion and all the staff are very welcoming.

We had a wonderful time celebrating our Anniversary! The food was excellent, as was the service from the staff. We've visited a couple of times, and each time the food, service, and wine have been perfect. We can't wait to return for more amazing meals. A big thank you to the staff and the chef!

It was a beautiful Autumn day when we arrived at South Lodge, the hotel grounds looked stunning. We were welcomed escorted to the Camellia went into the nearby bar for a pre-lunch drink. The service was excellent very friendly. The restaurant is lovely, it was a busy Sunday lunch but the service was still good. I enjoyed my 3 course Sunday roast beef lunch finished off sitting on the terrace for coffee shortbread biscuits. A special dining experience

Food great, service atrocious. They didn’t have enough menus for all guests. Waiting staff did not know who ordered what. Drinks requested did not arrive. Coffee was not even offered after the meal. I’d expected so much more given the £80+ per head experience.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at this restaurant, and it was a memorable experience. Our table offered a lovely view of the lawns, which added to the ambiance. The food was incredibly delicious, and the service was outstanding, just as you would hope for on such a special occasion. The atmosphere was tranquil, making it perfect for celebrating. We are already looking forward to our next visit!
