Café Gelato - Horry

Great feel at home place. The owners are from NY so “you know what's up”. Everything is run smoothly and like clockwork. The desserts Including ice cream are made fresh daily on premise. I go for breakfast or lunch the food is excellent the service is great and the prices are not overbearing. One of go to spots when im home only 5 blocks from me.

Super cute inside with gelato on one side and breakfast lunch options on the other. I love the decor and the old music they play (think Frank Sinatra, etc. I got oatmeal while headed out of town and it was really good, but it took them 40 minutes! After asking about it, they said they needed to make a fresh batch and he gave me a free bottled drink out of the case, which was super nice. Still, I wouldn't go here if I were in a hurry. Great place for a delicious lunch. Very dog friendly on the patio and offers military discount. Sandwiches are big and served with a side. Very healthy and fresh food.

On vacation, we saw this place and thought we were in luck as there was no line- we ordered a double scoops each of gelato. We ordered scoops: chocolate/strawberry and chocolate/pistachio. All of our gelato was disgusting. No flavor- they tasted old and freezer burned, no wonder why no one was in line. What a waste of $15.27

This place was adorable. We found it while we waited with our group for a water appointment and the food was delciious, the staff was friendly. We wound up going back later that day to grab some goodies and drinks before heading home.
