The Boat House - Hornbeak

We have dined at this restaurant multiple times because we love the view. However, after our most recent experience, we will not be returning. We were the second guests to arrive at the restaurant, but it took an incredibly long time for our food to be served. They were out of chicken breast and barbecue sauce, so I ended up ordering chicken fingers that were so tough I couldn't even eat them. My mom, who is on a strict diet, ordered grilled catfish and apples, but was charged $10 for two small pieces of catfish. I had tea and she had coffee, and my chicken fingers were the only thing on my plate. Our bill came to $38.00, including an automatic tip. The owner of the restaurant was very unfriendly. Overall, the food received a rating of 1 and the service a 3.

This restaurant is fantastic for dining out. The atmosphere is clean and welcoming, and the food is incredibly delicious. The menu offers a wide selection of options, and we enjoyed the catfish with all the fixings as well as a delicious shrimp cocktail. There is plenty of parking available and the service is top-notch. Overall, we highly recommend trying the bacon wrapped tenderloin, catfish platter, house salad, and catfish fillet dinner. The price per person is between $20 and $30, making it a great value for the quality of food and service.
