There was a 1 1/2 hour wait when only one other person was waiting. The noise level wasn 't pleasant. The rap music was too loud and other tv sounds. Walking in there were no pleasantries such as a hello, a welcome of any kind or a how may we assist you . Nothing!! I approached a hairstylist/ barber and had to ask about possible simple haircut. He wasn 't much help and said he couldn 't speak for the other two that were there. No communication and sense of assistance. I left.

For my 1st experience the people were nice, but the food was horrible. It tastes like it was over cooked in old oil and for the price for a plate and to not get full is unacceptable. The Mac and cheese was watered down also. I do not recommend this place , unless they change their cooking oil and get a timer so they don't make the food dry and way over done. Some of the worst fried okra,fries,fish,and hush puppies ever. Bypass this place at all cost

After coming from Graceland I ordered a grilled Redfish, had two sides to select and a softdrink. It took some time (which is good) and the meal was good.

Who are searching for a reasonably priced dinner place in the Memphis area and happened to drive by Crazy Lu’s seafood. There were lots of cars around, so we decided to give it a try. Even though it was not heavily rated or reviewed, we were pleasantly surprised with the menu, and with the prices. I ordered a grilled seafood combo and my wife ordered shrimp salad. Both were nicely prepared and certainly met our expectations. As we were sitting by the kitchen, other various seafood dishes came by, and all looked very appetizing. I would recommend Crazy Lu’s to anyone looking for some good seafood in the area of Horn Lake.
