Melanie's Fine Dining - Horn Lake

Today is 09/06/22 my visit was about 3 weeks ago. I just remember that the dressing tastes like a cook top and they load $29 for a knight's plate. Should be known that it was super high when someone asked on Fb how much and she said she didn't know she was a cashier? Really! Never again?

The food was AWESOME especially the yams and dressing!! I will be a retuning customer for sure!!!

The restaurant is always clean and the service is always excellent. Cabbage greens, corn bread. Macaroni and cheese, hamburger steak mash potatoes is my favorite. The macaroni and cheese is to die for. Melanie's has the best southern food around.

I got smothered chicken, green beans, and mac and cheese! So good!!! It was to die for! the meat fell right off again! The green bean delicioso! Will be back again, again, and again!!!

So far so good, staff was nice and very welcoming. It was saturday morning and there were no customers in the place. The floor was dirty with food crumbs. This place has seen better days but it is what it is. I have no problem coming to a place like this if the service is great. Prices are reasonable so that is a plus. This place has had horrible reviews on other sites so we decided to try it and judge for ourselves. Food took a while but that is not always a bad thing. I was however surprised to see dried parsley used as a garnish. I ordered a ribeye and eggs and got a tbone and eggs. Steak was seasoned well. Nothing extra special not sure if we will be back but no real complaints
