Seafood King - Hopkinsville

Deeelish! update 11. mai 2019 this was our first visit, since seafood king is in the new location on ft campbell blvd. food was excellent. a couple of months ago we went to the seafood cookery in clarksville on wilma rudolph. never again. seafood king is sooo much better. the quality of the crabs is better, the prices are cheaper (both places are market price,) they get more than twice as much food (I had put the half of the ice at both). the boiling liquid is incredible, a little spicy, not nearly as salty (the other place uses much too much salt,) much real butter. hubby has the Brisket sandwich. super delicate and tasty. he couldn't stop eating even if he was full. the service at seafood king is pretty good. no waiting to sit (other space is an hour or longer, even early or late times,) server got our order immediately, only about 15 minutes for bucket to be brought out. the chef checked us. juke box played, but not loud at all. I saw a poboy at another table. the filling fell out of bc it was so crowded, tried the next time! my only suggestion would be to wait for ready-made and catering food that does not last as long as the boiling. hubbys brisket was brought out 5 min before my cooking. he was halfway away when I got my crab. Everyone should eat together so we can eat together. domt wasted the time after clarksville! much better quality and taste at seafood king! aug 2018 I eat this ananas garnel dish. his incredible and the wait worth it! it has spiced with something perfectly. garnels are cooked for perfection. still delicate, not rubbery. I thought the sose would be merciless teriyaki-ish, but not. the ananas makes it sweet, but his is not excessive as teriyaki. Defendant creole aromen. rice and vegetables are tender, but not muddy. I knew wait to come back n try the crab legs (we are late here, they were sold out). yall makes an incredible job. nice to have some non-traditional Southky restaurants. I'll be back every week if I can!

The dining experience here is quite lovely, with a beautiful atmosphere. The customer service is satisfactory, although the wait for food can be a bit lengthy. However, it's worth the wait! You can relax and enjoy the ambiance while you wait for your meal. There are numerous TVs to watch, making the wait more enjoyable. It's also a kid-friendly place, making it a great choice for families. Overall, it's a nice spot to gather with loved ones.

It was excellent, only there for drinks for an appetizer that was ananas garnelen. good witness. bier was amazing, I don't dig a beer and I don't know what I had, but it was great. slightly sweet with a little apple on it. the waiting staff was great, for me a little prudent. I don't want to be interrupted when they talk. but I didn't stand for it. in general, this is a great place. small simple menu good eating and excellent atmosphere.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was great, with plenty of TVs around. The staff were friendly and seated us promptly. I ordered the grilled shrimp stuffed pineapple, while others in my group had the catfish. Everyone commented on how delicious their meals were, noting that the food was hot and fresh off the grill. The prices were reasonable for the generous portions we received. However, the service was a bit slow, especially given the crowds, so I’m reducing my rating by one star. I definitely recommend it over other chain restaurants, though; it’s highly recommended!

I ordered the catfish and wings. Both were well-seasoned, but unfortunately, they were overcooked. My mother and friend got the crab boil and loved it.
