Cajun Steamer Grill - Hoover

I'm terrible with names, but my server was fantastic, and the food was incredible. The atmosphere is inviting, and they serve the best oysters and Cajun cuisine I've ever had. It's located next to BB's in Houston. This restaurant is amazing, and I plan to return before I leave Alabama. Don't miss the voodoo chicken with cornbread!

I've been in Hoover for a long time now and Cajun Steamer has seriously made large strides to grow and adapt during these strange times. Their atmosphere and food is amazing! Haven't ordered Mussels anywhere but 30a and they were perfect. Crab Claws and even Oysters were great. Give them a shot!

We decided to try this Cajun spot a couple of weeks ago and I am so glad we did! It?s a nice little spot close to the Galleria Mall and they put Cajun right there in that little spot. I had the Shrimp Grits which was a nice choice. Now, these Shrimp Grits are different than any I have ever had. You get anything from grits on top of shrimp to an actual shrimp and grits dish at other restaurants then you get these shrimp and grits! The Shrimp Grits at Cajun Steamer Bar Grill are differently amazing. They are the most moist I have ever had and it?s a dish where the shrimp and grits go nicely together. Moist you ask? Yes, this dish has a lot of liquid which I enjoy. I assume it is coming from cooking the shrimp like shrimp scampi and then bringing it all together. I just stirred mine all up and had some of the best Shrimp Grits I have ever had. Glad we went and we will surely be back!!!!!!
