The Study at Modern Honolulu

Double date with friends. had dinner at roy in waikiki and took a lyft into the study. extremely clean and well decorated. friendly server, live music from a guy and his gitarre was nice and the drinks were great. we didn't try to eat. but this app forces them to rate it, so I gave it a 3. the food options looked good for appetizers, but can not evaluate higher without having.

We came shortly before the end of the hh, our waitress got our order before the end of the time. we ordered a sort (bet poke, wagyu bark dish, spinach/moushroom flatbread and the roasted oktopus.) everything was delicious and fresh. there was music from 8P, rodney all. he's very talented. decor is clean, simple lines. platz is still comfortable and cozy. will definitely return.

We received excellent service even though we were a large group. I was impressed!

When I arrived I was told that I didn’t have a table reserved. The reservation I made didn’t mean anything because they don’t reserve tables unless you buy bottle service. There was no point in making a reservation or using this app.

Food was amazing along with the live music but there was a competition between live music and table talk.
