Stage Cafe - Honolulu

The Stage restaurant never fails to impress. We celebrated our daughter's birthday with a special dinner here and it was truly amazing! Our server, Michael, was knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations.

The restaurant was excellent, and the staff were very helpful. They allowed us plenty of time to make our decisions on what to order.

My wife and I enjoyed the simplicity of the menu at this restaurant. The Asian influence in the chef's dishes really enhanced the dining experience. The waiter was friendly and knowledgeable, helping us navigate the options for appetizers, entrees, and desserts.

While the quality of the food was as outstanding as always, we had been spoiled in the past so much, that anything less than what was done in the past made the meal seem ordinary. We sorely missed the complimentary amuse bouche that had always been provided in the past. Also, the side of vegetables that we ordered arrived as we were finishing our main dish (and we intentionally ate slowly to be able to enjoy with the vegetables). As always, the desserts were outstanding in taste and in innovation. Had this been the first time for us at this restaurant, it would have received 4 stars, but as I mentioned, our expectation was already extremely high. Also, the piano playing was constant and much too loud, so much so that table conversation was not possible.

We celebrated our friend's memory and reunited here for a dinner a gathering us old workers. It was wonderful food, ambiance and the perfect setting for this great dinner. Highly recommend. The service was excellent
