Ocean House Restaurant - Honolulu

I was very fortunate to have dinner here one final time before the doors are closed forever.

This review is written with a bittersweet emotion because Ocean House has officially closed as of September 30.

This was a nice restaurant right on the ocean of WaikikiThe service was great, everyone was friendly as soon as your reach the door.

Excellent selection of beers, reliably delicious food and great service. If you don't have a reservation, it's usually easy to secure a seat at the bar for a full dining service. A neighborhood favorite.

Whoa. Yellowtail tasted way too "fishy" and the so-called pastrami shortribs were greasy pastrami. Both were $ 30. Robbery. We gave our feedback to the bartender (we were sitting at the bar) and he made no effort to "get it right". I will not be back. The dining room was nice ... parking was awful in the neighborhood.
