Nalu Health Cafe - Honolulu

I had an extremely disappointing experience with customer service at this restaurant in Hawaii. I arrived at 5:50 PM, glanced at the menu, and joined the line. The group ahead of me was taking their time with their orders, and by the time it was 6 PM, Nalu refused to take the rest of their orders or serve us. They stated that they close at 6 PM. When I mentioned that it would have been helpful if they had informed us while we were waiting, their response was simply, "Our sign says we are open from 9 to 6."

The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly. The food was delightful as well. There is ample seating inside the restaurant, as well as a few outdoor options. It's a charming and cozy indoor plaza. Don't forget to check out the artwork while you're there!

Delicious chai latte and avocado toast! The service was prompt. There are two tables inside the restaurant, but there are also nearby spots in the complex where you can enjoy your meal. The only downside is that they stop serving breakfast and egg dishes after 11:00. I happened to order at 11:03 and ended up missing out.

Açai bowl is so well balanced. Texture is just right not too watery not to dense with ice! The amount of condiments balanced out spoon for spoon!

I finally understand why there is normally a crazy line out the door.. but lemme tell you, Nalu is so worth the wait. The ahi sandwich was full of flavor and the textures of the fresh veggies combined with the ciabatta just make it a perfect healthy lunch option! The staff is friendly and the service was pretty quick. I will absolutely be going back again!!
