Komala Curry House - Honolulu

My wife and I had a delicious lunch here. As vegetarians, we were pleased to find 5 good options to choose from. There are small outdoor seating areas if you prefer to dine al fresco. Street parking or parking in the garage between Bischof and the hotel is available.

Wow! This restaurant is incredibly delicious. I decided to try some vegan options for lunch and was recommended the chana masala. The dish had tasty lentil balls served with yellow rice on the side. The family who runs the restaurant is very pleasant and the vegan menu options are fantastic. I highly recommend trying this place out.

Seems clean and has eco container!!!! Food is well prepared but very very very very very very very very bland unlike other Pakistan, Nepali, or Indian places I have experienced. If you think of health food store cafeteria like Down to Earth or Kokua or Gorvinda this is similar to that kind of flavor profiles I found a piece of hair in the food. I am not exactly sure if this is mine or theirs as I have black hair and they don't use hair net, so I just asked for another plate with just a little of another entree (equivalent to the left over amount). The owner seems nice and the place is very well lit, hence the mixed review.

They add a surcharge for card payments. The amount of curry served can vary greatly, leading to inconsistent experiences.

I have always been satisfied with my experiences at Komala Curry House. I have been a loyal customer for years.
