Island Vintage Coffee - Honolulu

This is easily my favorite shave ice spot in Oahu. We visited almost every day! Their shave ice is finely shaved and light and fluffy, and what sets them apart from many other places is that they use natural flavorings. Instead of being overly sweet, their shave ice is incredibly refreshing and makes for the perfect afternoon snack. I recommend going during the daytime, as the lines can get really long at night—but it’s definitely worth the wait!

The shave ice here is outstanding! The flavors are fantastic, and the ice is wonderfully soft and fluffy. Depending on the time of day, you might encounter a long line, so be prepared for a bit of a wait. You can place your order using a tablet at the food stand, which I think is pretty convenient. Personally, I prefer this spot to Matsumoto's, and it's conveniently located right in Waikiki.

We visited Hawaii and decided to try this restaurant because of its excellent reviews. I must say, it's one of the best shave ice places we've ever been to. The flavors are delicious and distinctly unique compared to many other places we've tried. It's no surprise it has such a high rating. However, I do have a negative point to mention: the portion sizes are quite small. We didn't expect them to be that small compared to the images on the menu. They seemed to use a different presentation when we were there.

It?s a must for anyone going to Oahu. I have tried almost all the flavors they provide. All of them were so good. Definitely recommend. The queue will always be long, but it?s worth the wait! Just take the serving to sit and enjoy amidst the lit torches, very close the shop. They use fresh fruit to make the syrup and that should be reason why it tastes so good. There are 2 or 3 gentlemen working diligently and creating these masterpieces- kudos to them!!

This place was awesome. The lines are sometimes long but the shaved ice is great and so is the service. We actually visited twice. One side note, they don?t take your order, you simply key it in when you get to the front of the line and wait for your name to be called. It really efficient?. If you?re in the area, stop by and enjoy!!
