Przekaż informację zwrotnąBest Japanese Shabu Shabu place, simple, meat and veggie with wide variety of soup bases to try, meat selection is good, fresh veggie and happy hour dishes are good to try, service could be better in terms of promptness, interior deco got a little out dated but maybe they are transitioning into an updated interior deco. Parking is behind the entrance for $1-2, no validation offered. As of now, they offer discounted gift cards during the year end holiday season and military discount
Very random customer service.. had great experience with the owner, revisited three times, but the three times had completely different experiences. Today we only tipped 10% because there’s literally no service and the waiter seems to not want us to really “finish with rice”. He only brought us two rice and asked us to cook, until we asked him to help us… He also didn’t ask if we want sauce, and didn’t give me straws that I asked for, nor chopsticks. That’s ridiculous…Anyways, if you visit, make sure to finish with rice (zosui). They’ll bring rice, eggs, and seaweed and cook for you. Make sure they do cook for you!!! … the zosui is the single reason I kept coming back.
High-quality hot pot!! We visited to celebrate my friend's birthday so we went all out and ordered TONS. For appetizers, we ordered the mushrooms, chicken karaage and gyoza. Everything was delicious. The mushrooms had amazing flavor and the chicken karaage was the perfect crispiness. We loved these two so much we ordered seconds! For our hot pot orders, we all selected something a little different. I loved how many different options there were and everything was really high quality. The veggie portion was generous which I especially appreciated! The service was great and the atmosphere was comfortable. We had a fantastic time and the next time I went hot pot I will be back to try something completely different. There are so many options one could eat here many times and never have the same thing twice.
The food here is delicious! The Ichiriki broth is so good, I could just drink it by itself. The zosui at the end is the best part of the meal. The service here is slow and sometimes, you are waiting a while for your order to be taken or the check. But the food comes fast.
One of the OG Nabe (Japanese for Hotpot) in Honolulu, Ichiriki is a local favorite that has been open since 2006. The shop features dishes from Sukiyaki and Shabu Shabu to their 15 original soup broths. They also have some appetizers, set meals, and dessert. Each hot pot comes with a choice of meat plus vegetables, mushrooms, chicken, shrimp, and fish balls. We got the Yuzu Koshō (A mix of chili peppers, yuzu citrus, and salt) and Angry Goma (Spicy sesame) broths plus the pork chanko nabe. The interior is largely Japanese influenced, which reminds me of a Japanese style home with booths and tables. The standard nabe cost about $30 and different meats and broths cost extra. This can be a little pricey if you tend to eat a lot or order extra meat. The service can vary depending on the server as we had different levels of service on each visit. For the most part it is average. Overall, decent place to go and it is located a convenient location right down the street from Ala Moana Mall.
