Hi Steaks Ala Moana - Honolulu

I used to be a big fan of Hi-Steaks before they relocated to Ala Moana. I visited the restaurant twice in Hawaii and both times they were out of potato salad before 4pm. Unfortunately, the lady behind the counter struggled with giving instructions in English.

Meatloaf locomoco was pretty good. kimchee coleslaw was okay, too sharp for me. truffle friries were also good. they use snowshots.

This is a good place to take a quick lunch or dinner. it is not her typical almost food operation. eating is fresh and tasteful. the kimchi cole slaw is delicious.

Food was old and disgusting! I have never given a 1 star review ever! We ordered a combo steak and shrimp plate tonight. The shrimp was old! Tasted gross and the shell was embedded in the shrimps.The food was not edible at all. We ask for a refund from doordash and they refused!
