Giovanni’s Shrimp - Honolulu

A bit overhyped in my opinion but if you really like shrimp you can give it a try. We got the scampi and the spicy shrimp which comes with two scoops of rice. The best thing imo is the spicy sauce (which is extremely spicy FYI). Location is inside the H-mart so if you're in the area then go ahead and try the shrimp but otherwise don't make a special trip for it

Disappointing Scampi Food Experience:This was quite a disappointing experience. They actually charge for tap water, and the food didn't live up to the deliciousness of the original food truck. The shells were overly thick, making it hard to chew, unlike other scampi-serving food trucks. I won't be coming back here.It seems people choose this place for convenience since the famous scampi dish is available in the nearby Waikiki food court. I'd recommend skipping this spot and seeking out the original food truck for a superior and authentic experience.Also, the tables are very sticky, adding to the unpleasant experience.

The food doesn’t live to my expectations. They use canned minced garlic instead fresh chopped. Tastes bitter !

I expected to be a little better given the hype around shrimp trucks. Guessing having it straight from the truck is better. This was still a yummy experience! A little hard to park in the garage nearby and not the easiest to find but he location on the second floor of the H Mart so leave a little time to get there.

Located on 2nd floor of the food court of HMart. Same menu as other locations. Structure parking is free for the 1st hour if validated.
