Curry House Coco Ichibanya - Honolulu

A friend of mine that lived in Japan recommended this spot to me so I really wanted to try it. After browsing the options, there were many things I wanted to try. I decided to go with what appears to be the most popular?Chicken Cutlet with Cheese (spicy). I loved this dish. I've never had a cheddar cheese with curry before and it was delicious. The curry was spicy but not overwhelmingly so. Before looking into this spot, I didn't even know curry was common in Japaneseculture. I highly recommend checking this spot out. There are locations in a few different cities across the US.

Great value for the amount of food you receive. And their personal dining area is still closed, but the rest of the seating at the food court is only a few steps away. Overall I can't complain. And bring cash unless you want to pay a 3% surcharge on a purchase with a credit card.

Pretty good curry. But with the dining area closed, the meal is served with cheap utensils which lowers the overall experience. The portions are also below what you would expect.
