Lqw le quinze vins is a winery with two filials in hongkong. this filiale is located at the swatok street in wan chai and is open daily from 12 to 12 o'clock. lqw is a popular place for the French expat community, one of the first spots around the city where they will hear much more French than English or Cantonese. when they arrive, they will take a look at what is on the wall menu if they want to order wine with the glass. an old navig can order a bottle from the large lists that they find in their wine book. the book itself is beautiful with information about the regions, weinberge and labels of the French weine in the week last year, lqw offers with the opening of partner company la cremerie (cheese shop) over the street and lynery (cook and steak house) next to delicious wood charcoal, sink and cheese plates that they can enjoy with their wine. at a recent visit we enjoyed beautiful red on the glass (HK$70-80 per glass) along with a cheese and wood charcoal plates that were beautiful and delicious. everything was very good, something we like to repeat in the near future.

The French bar, which together with le boucher français and la crèmerie represents a great combination of wine, meat and cheese. what else could a french or someone else want to be interested or curious? the atmosphere is great and the staff not only beautiful and smiling, but very helpful! be alone or with someone there, enjoyed every time. the wee is not only affordable for hk, but really good and do not hesitate to ask for suggestion or recommendation. they always come very practical. the meat in le boucher français will melt in its mouth. one of the best pieces I have eaten in hk. not a cheap place overall safe, but a great wein, good, firm and time to enjoy.

The sommelier was so helpful and recommended the most beautiful French Chardonnay for us, paired with a French cheese board from the cheese La cremerie across the lane. This place in the side streets of Wanchai Hong Kong a must do for French wine lovers.

An excellent selection of (French) weeping at a fair price for hongkong. the service was very friendly and knowledgeable at each visit. can highly recommend the combination of sausage and cheeseboard.

Hidden gem in wan chai. large place for bliss drink, a lazy, satter afternoon. ....repeat with friends. an excellent selection of wein from France. they simply say their preference and they will have friendly recommendations from their employees.
