Great for groups. very lively vibe but be prepared for louddd music service was friendly and very attentive (even on a Friday night! cocktail Fresco was very refreshing (although I could not taste any alcohol at all tasty: guac, watermelon salad interesting: fried beetroot, Peruvian so so: scallop tostadas. 3 half scallops on 3 half sized pringle like taco chips with jello on top. Lacked flavouring. Kinda hard to justify the price really.... Overall it was a great night out with my visiting friend in town! Very chilled and reasonable price. I felt like I was out of Hong Kong.
This restaurant has been around for many years and used to be one of my favorite. The menu hasn't really been changed, so you do get a bit bored after several visit
The best Mexican food I had for years! brickhouse hides a dark gasse way right in front of the main street, but don't let them expose it. while she envelopes the steps she takes from the tantalizing and beat music. the cocktails are cold and strong, the perfect accompaniment to light, brownish Mexican food.
Good for drinks and tacos. Easy, chilled-out vibes, but servers were attentive. However, the exteriors are too dark (in keeping with the ambience) and I saw two people fall down because the pathway is uneven and difficult to see in the dim lighting. So tread carefully and mind your step, but once inside, the artsy atmosphere and the nice tacos are worth it. We had the taco platter, which is perfect for sharing.
This place is voted the best Mexican restaurant in Hong Kong. If you’re new to Hong Kong and try to find this place, you’ll probably have a hard time. It’s located down a dark and narrow alley that looks abandoned. The inside is super dark. It gets very busy and draws a young and sexy crowd. I lived in Mexico for a long time. So it’s hard rating and comparing Mexican food. The guacamole and chips here was perfection. The was done just right and the chips where thin, crispy and over fresh. The tacos were nice. I had the shrimp and the chicken. I got the diablo cocktail and it was okay. Nothing to write home about. Prices are shocking high for Hong Kong. You won’t notice it until you get the bill. Guacamole $90 HKD, Tacos $65 HKD each, Cocktail $120 HKD, Coke $40 HKD. Total $380 HKD $49 USD). In Mexico City you can go to the top rated michelin star restaurant Pujol for a 8 course modern Mexican meal for that price.
