Best part of the meal was the tomato and mozerella starter which was fresh and tasty- then it all went downhill from there. Langoustines were overlooked, mussels were bland and the omelette was rubbery. Had to wait for 50 mins for the main course and the place was not that busy. Would recommend for a glass of beer and a place to watch the world go by but there are much better places to eat in Honfleur.
We couldn't resist stopping here for a drink as it looked so typically French and we were ready for some refreshments. Coffee was good, service was quick and we watched the world go by in very pleasant surroundings.
Dinned here recently as a Solo Traveler, I enjoyed my meal, but found the food averagethe service good and value poor. The Creme Brulee was very good, my Fish soup was just stock really (€ 10.50 !) the Pasta seafood was great size but no sauce, just somecreme fraisse. Overall I enjoyed my meal in this fabulous town, just the food quality could be better.
There is not much you can do wrong with a crepe but they managed to do it. The crepe tasted like cardboard, appeared to have barely visited the pan, and the interior was without flavor and the sauce probably canned. While we were there, another customer complained about his hamburger which he declared to have been frozen, watery and disgusting which developed into a pitched battle with the owner who admitted that it had been frozen but didn't agree with his judgement on how it tasted and literally chased after him in the street yelling insults. And I won't even mention the state of the bathroom...
A typical tourist style menu with plenty of choices. Good Galettes and Crepes with tasty fillings - plenty of other choices for the children - sensibly priced wine. A happy experience. Will be there again.
