Wild Sassa - HOMOSASSA

I had a fantastic lunch today at Wild Sassa! It was the last weekend to try the stone crab chowder, and I'm so glad we went before it was gone! The chowder was packed with crab and had a creamy, flavorful base. The wild shrimp tacos were served in grilled flour tortillas and topped with a delightful fresh mango salsa. We will definitely be returning customers!

All I can say is, I want more! I had the fish tacos and the shrimp tacos, and I loved every bite. I believe they're offering gluten-free corn tortillas as well. We also brought home some wild shrimp sold by the pound with garlic butter, and they are incredible! I can’t wait until tomorrow. You definitely have to give this place a try!

During our recent visit to town, we made it a point to seek out local cuisine, and we were delighted with our choice. The food was truly unforgettable and remarkably fresh. There was something for everyone to enjoy. The owners went above and beyond with their warm smiles and attentive service. We can't wait to return!

We loved this place so much, we ate here twice during our week holiday to Homosassa. The shrimps are so good! The ladies who run this place are wonderful and you might have to wait a minute, but that's because it's real food and they put it together so well. Gluten-free options! That was hard for me to find in the area, so I was glad to find it. But my family is not gluten-free and they loved the Quesadillas, Chowder and Tacos. I had a basket both times and it is so filling and fresh. They put fresh fruit at any meal. I cannot recommend this place enough! You can also sit by the river, watch the boats and we were visited by ducks and Ibiss and Pelicans.

Five stars does not do it justice, best shrimp and tuna tacos I have ever had. Seriously cannot go wrong, just flat out delicious with great atmosphere! Just wish the hours longer and more consistent day to day.
