Victoria's Borinquen Cafe - Homestead

I visited for the first time and was quite surprised to find that the cakes had a vinegar taste. The escabeche gizzard with guinea fowl was overwhelmingly vinegary and barely contained any gizzard at all. What a letdown. I ordered quite a few cakes, but they were so sour that my dog wouldn't even eat them. It's clear those cakes were not fresh. Overall, I’d rate the food a 1, the service a 1, and the atmosphere a 1.

We were served an empanada that had raw meat in it. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, they acknowledged it was undercooked, but when I requested a replacement, I was told that wasn’t possible, and there was no apology offered. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. Service: Dine-in.
