Subway Sandwiches Salads - Homer

The sandwiches my mom, her husband, and I received were poorly made; they were not fully wrapped or properly cut, and it felt like they were just hurriedly tossed together amidst the chaos. The second visit was even less enjoyable. I tried to remain positive and friendly because I was really hungry, but I was met with a soda machine that was out of order—no carbonation, very little syrup, and everything tasted overly watered down. It was frustrating, and I didn’t want to complain further for fear of being treated even worse by the staff. The atmosphere felt off, and the selection of chips was disappointing, with only three or four options available. The employees were unapproachable and made my husband and me feel like a nuisance for placing an order. When we got home to eat our sandwiches, we discovered the bread was burnt. Even so, we ate them because we were starving, washing them down with the drinks that also didn’t taste right. The only redeeming aspect was the chips, which were not even made by Subway! Overall, I would give this Subway a one out of five stars. I would not recommend it to anyone and certainly won’t be returning. If you’re looking for a better option, I’d suggest heading to McDonald's instead—it's much more enjoyable and less expensive than our $33 for two foot-long meals, including tip.

The restaurant was exceptionally clean, and the staff was quick and efficient in their work.

It's a Subway, so you know what to expect. Just a word of caution: the staff here tends to go a little overboard with the condiments. If you ask for mustard, be ready for an overwhelming amount—seriously, you might end up with half a gallon. I highly recommend grabbing the packets of mustard, mayo, and oil and vinegar from the soda machine instead. This might seem minor, but hear me out... You’ve got that perfect BMT with just the right amount of veggies, your bread toasted to perfection, and you're eagerly anticipating that first bite. Then, out of the blue, your light mayo and mustard turn into a messy, unappetizing sludge that completely ruins your sandwich, leaving you with a soggy, disappointing meal.

I've always been a fan of Subway, but the atmosphere wasn't very appealing. However, the service was outstanding.
