We drove 1 hr 15 minutes to get this place and did not get disappointed . staff is friendly , couches in the waiting area are comfy, and the view of the lake is awesome . i've had all you can eat catfish but you can not even think about ordering another one because they bring so much food and it is so delicious. coleslaw hush puppies pickle and the bean soup were fantastic. my wife had steak and it was perfectly seasoned. she didnt even need A1 steak sauce. tender and juicy steak. it definitely worth to try this place and we loved it. Thanks to everyone who made our meal very enjoyable...

A really great restaurant that is in store for over 50 years!!!

I met the owner/manager in Sams and after a short conversation he suggested I gave them an attempt. Now I drove 50 minutes through stormy weather, just to sit and wait and watch people who had come at least 15 to 30 minutes after my meal. After a 30-minute wait, I asked my waitress about my order, she replied that my was behind the people who came after me, but I would get it soon. After another 15-minute wait, I decided to leave and asked the manager what my expenses for the facility, he refused and offered me free food that I refused because I paid for my meals and tips very well. I am not sure whether it was the color of my skin or because I had eaten alone and the staff thought the larger groups would be more or just a combination of both. This was my first visit and my only visit, I eat a lot and will travel great distances for good food, but I refuse to to tolerate bad service for what reason. I wasted 2 hours and 30 minutes, and yes I am annoyed!!!

Fifteen family members went to this restaurant after reservation. They were ready for us. Our waiter, Sutton, right? Johnny on site!? He served us quickly and visited our needs. He was pleasant. He always smiled and laughed with us. All other employees were also pleasant. We drove an hour to eat there. Me?
